Cooking Yummy – Yams

Yams, according to The World’s Healthiest Foods, are an excellent source of vitamin B6 and potassium, vitamin C and fiber. 1 oz yams – 32 calories, 8 g carbs 

1. Baked with skin:

with cinnamon or coconut 

3. Egg whites & yams crapes:

4 oz cooked yam  + 4 egg whites + stevia

Blend all ingredients in a blender and cook with Pam Spray 

4. Yams & coconut pancakes (Sweet)

4 oz shredded yam + 1 egg white +2 tea spoons of oat flour + stevia + coconut (optional). Mix all ingredients and cook with Pam Spray.

 

5. Yams Russian pancakes (Derynu) 

4 oz shredded yam + 1 egg white + salt free seasoning. Mix all ingredients and cook with Pam Spray.

6. Yams & egg whites omelet 

4 oz cooked yams + 4 egg whites + stevia + Pam Spray

7. Yummy Yam Protein shake 

1 scoop Vanilla Protein + 4 oz cooked frozen yam +water
